Recent ensuite — Howick
Plumbing that turns up, picks up, and tidies up after itself.
I'm Ben. I run Platform Plumbing out of East Auckland — burst pipes, blocked drains, hot water, kitchens and bathrooms. Straight quotes, clean jobs, no surprises.
Most jobs fall into one of these four. Tap through for the detail.
Residential plumbing across East Auckland and the wider city — reactive call-outs, scheduled work, and the everyday maintenance that keeps a house dry, warm, and draining the way it should.

01
Burst pipe, water down a wall, blocked main drain, hot water out — the calls that need someone on the way today, not next Tuesday. I keep my afternoons flexible for these.

02
Cylinder replacements, repairs, pressure issues, slow recovery — and the calm conversation about whether a 25-year-old tank really wants to be repaired one more time. Mains-pressure and low-pressure systems.
Hot water options & replacement -

Renovation rough-ins, fit-offs, single-fixture swaps. Working alongside builders or tilers; or just the homeowner who's bought a tap online and wants it fitted properly. Code compliance handled end-to-end.

Blocked drains, slow gully traps, smelly stacks, downpipe and stormwater work. Clearing, locating, and the dig-and-replace work for a section of pipe that's well past its decade.
Drainage & flow problems
Four steps. Same on a $200 callout or a full bathroom.
Every job is a different size, but the rhythm is the same. The point isn't to look busy — it's to leave you with a fixed problem and a clean site.
You call, I answer
If I'm under a sink, I call back the second I'm out. Same number every time — no booking line, no triage.
A look, a quote
I'll come and see it, talk you through what I'd do, and price it before I start. No surprise invoices, no “while I was there” charges.
Do the work
Quality fittings. Pressure-test before I sign off. Photos of anything I've buried so you know exactly what's where.
Tidy up, walk through
Surfaces wiped, offcuts off site. I show you what I did and how to use any new gear. Then the invoice — usually that night.
One person. One number. One person who's actually going to do the job.
Platform Plumbing is me, Ben — and a van full of gear. I work residential, owner-operator. The same person who quotes the work is the person who turns up to do it.
That's the point of the name. A platform — something solid, dependable, the bit that everything else sits on. That's what plumbing is supposed to be in a house. You shouldn't think about it. When something goes wrong, you should know exactly who to call.
East Auckland out of Northpark — happy to come further for the right job.
Most weeks I'm working a triangle between Botany, Howick and Flat Bush — that's the home patch. I'll travel further across Auckland for renovation work, planned hot-water replacements, and customers I've worked with before.
